Anyway Mupesewa has been sanctified and anointed by GOD to do church plant and evangelism works starting in his country, Zimbabwe. Born in December, 1987, Evangelist (as he is affectionately called) Mupesewa’s road to growing up and becoming a preacher is riddled with all the trials and tribulations of an orphan, who lost both his parents at an early age when he needed them the most. Despite of all the challenges that he encountered and still faces, the Evangelist remains resolute and committed to his calling. It was at a very tender age that he believes God commissioned him to pervade the Gospel message, starting in his country and to other regions as the Holy Ghost enabled. From the time he was old enough to read the Bible, he began to admire and cherish the Great Commission, which he believes has no one exempted from participating in it. His passion and love for winning souls to Christ are evident every time he stands to take up the microphone to either sing or preach. He narrates biblical verses in storytelling fashion giving it a fresh relevant interpretation in most of his songs and sermons.
He grew up sheltered under the loving wings of Eden Children’s Village-an orphanage located in Doma, Zimbabwe (http://www.edenchildrensvillage.org/.) Eden together with other godly figures helped shape and mold him into the God fearing man he is today. His bachelor’s degree (Preaching and Youth Ministry) from Johnson University, Knoxville, TN (class of 2014) has tremendously equipped the young evangelist to do great wonders for his country-which he wishes to see represented in heaven one day. His love for his people can be substituted by nothing else. He is willing to die, so his country can know God. In his own words:
“Salvation is man’s greatest need, and I have been commissioned to fulfill this need beginning in Zimbabwe. Nothing can substitute the calling which God has placed on my heart. I dream of a day when Zimbabweans will not only make disciples among themselves, but send out missionaries to our neighboring countries, or rather to the ends of the world.”
Evangelist Mupesewa has been invited to speak in different churches and occasions. Two of these occasions include a graduation and a high school retreat in Puerto Rico (2013). Apart from preaching numerous times in his country before coming to Bible College in the States, he has preached in a number of churches in the U.S.A. His band has played at a few revival meetings in Zimbabwe as well. He had the privilege of spending three summers (2011,2012, and 2014) working at Rainbow Christian Camp, Converse, IN (http://www.rainbowcamp.org/programs/) where under the leadership of Bruce Cameron and Joseph Wisley raised him to a higher spiritual walk with his Creator. The summer of 2013 saw him interning at City on a Hill Church, Scottsburg, IN (http://cityonahillscottsburg.com/) which further prepared him for the work in Zimbabwe.
Anyway has since named his ministry “REDEEM ALL” a tittle he also uses for his Gospel band. He believes this name will daily remind him of the global call of God to make disciples of all nations. ‘Redeem All exists to Redeem what has been stolen by the Devil.’
Evangelist Mupesewa is currently (2015) pursuing his Master’s degree in Intercultural Studies online through Johnson University. His long term goal is to start a discipleship training center in Zimbabwe. “Training the indigenous people on how to make disciples will speed up our endeavours to reach the world for Christ” he believes.
